It is always a good option to upgrade a car braking performance. A lot of people take braking performances for granted. This is especially crucial moreover because Perodua Viva comes with solid disc for the front brakes. Furthermore Perodua cars are especially famous for the brakes issue of vibrating and warp disc.
So an advice was sought thru Ejam Motorsport located in Meru, Klang. Brief introduction of Ejam Motorsport= it is a workshop specialize with Perodua and Daihatsu cars, done a lot of transplanting job and also regular maintenance. Previously active with their Kelisa in the Malaysian Rally.

Ejam the man suggested using Passo caliper and disc as it is plug and play for my beloved Perodua Viva. Plus it could fit into my tiny 14inch wheels nicely. So no need to custom bracket and can buy back Perodua Myvi brake pad. The Passo caliper and disc was said origin from Daihatsu 1.3 capacity engine thus should be enough to stop my Perodua Viva. The Passo disc is also ventilated type disc, which would dissipate heat faster than a solid disc and the caliper has more grips over the disc.

Yes, Perodua Myvi brakes of caliper and disc should also fit into Perodua Viva that is if you can find a good/ new condition brakes from Myvi.

total dlm rm400.kalau boleh cari brek toyota passo atau myvi pn ok gak.tp myvi kena ready beli disc baru dan pad baru sebab disc myvi oem ni selalu warped/bengkok.
kalo pakai myvi punyer, kena pakai rim 15 ke..?

sama gak.caliper dan disc myvi leh muat utk rim 14 inci.takde masalah...
nak tanye sikit...brake pad YRV sama ke ngan myvi...sbb sy tgk permukaan dan cover area brake lain...sbb bila pakai brake pad myvi...dia x fully press pada permukaan disc....ade lagi ruang kosong...YRV pulak fully covered...n cam mane awk boleh pasang brake pad myvi kat brake YRV...tapak brake clip x sama...
brake pad yrv mmg tak sama dgn myvi.saya dah confirmkan dgn kwn2 yg lain, viva saya ni tak psg brake dari yrv tp dr passo.
kalau passo mmg sama dgn myvi.

jika saya ingin tukar specs brake macam yg awk guna, berapa total cost?. jika ingin tukar brake same specs ( Passo caliper and disc ) Worshop tu ada stock specs tu?.
